Cows milk before 1 year?
Hello, I have noticed that in the example meal plan for beginning your baby on solids, it states to add a splash of cows milk to one of the meals. Is this ok? I always thought you couldn’t introduce cow’s milk until 1 year. My baby is on formula. Thanks!

Hey Helen,
Great question! Its a topic we hear a lot and one that causes a lot of confusion! It’s completely fine to offer in foods just not recommended as a main drink until after one as due to the volume of milk thats consumed as a drink it could be a little too much protein for babes under 12 months.
