Vanilla in Recipes
I see vanilla in a lot of recipes and I’m just wondering what kind this is? Vanilla essence contains alcohol, should this be used?

Hello!
There is an alcohol free one called Chef’s choice pure vanilla extract. Alternatively imitation vanilla essence contains very very little alcohol and most recipes are then cooked further reducing the alcohol content. It’s perfectly fine to use when in the quantities referenced.
