Hi Beth! Apologies we missed this question! Are you still having trouble with the bread?

Hello! Farmed fish is great! It’s usually a lower mercury option than wild caught!

We have a whole resource on fish in the library too if you just search fish for babies!

    Hello!

There is an alcohol free one called Chef’s choice pure vanilla extract. Alternatively imitation vanilla essence contains very very little alcohol and most recipes are then cooked further reducing the alcohol content. It’s perfectly fine to use when in the quantities referenced.

    Hey Nicole,

Its ok to use. The amount used in baking is usually very minimal and then when you think about it spread across however many serves its unlikely to be a high amount in each muffin or whatever it is you are baking.

That being said there are also alternatives if you are more comfortable and would prefer when baking for babes under 1 or 2. I use salt skip products sometimes and ill link if you here ->? https://www.eumarrah.com.au/SS200/Eumarrah-Salt-Skip-Gluten-Free-Baking-Powder-200g/pd.php

    Hi Nicole,

Absolutely fine for her to have these if she’s consuming gluten and lactose in her diet elsewhere.

    Thanks,

    Jeanette

    Hey Helen,

Great question! Its a topic we hear a lot and one that causes a lot of confusion! It’s completely fine to offer in foods just not recommended as a main drink until after one as due to the volume of milk thats consumed as a drink it could be a little too much protein for babes under 12 months.
