Care & cleaning
Dishwasher safe. Or hand wash with a soft sponge and warm soapy water. Dry with a tea towel straight after washing. Stainless steel shows water marks — faint tan or rainbow patches are dried mineral deposits from tap water, not damage. A cloth dipped in white vinegar lifts them straight off. About surface marks: stainless steel marks with use, and metal cutlery marks it fastest. A metal spoon or fork is the same hardness as the plate, so scraping and dragging leaves fine surface lines, sometimes from the very first meal. This is normal for all stainless steel. There is no coating to wear through, so a marked plate is still completely safe, hygienic and built to last. A silicone-tipped spoon keeps the finish looking newer for longer. Avoid steel wool, scouring pads and bleach.

Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes — dishwasher safe.
Will the stainless steel scratch?
Yes, and that is normal. Metal cutlery is the same hardness as the plate, so fine surface marks appear with use. They are cosmetic only — stainless has no coating to wear through, so a marked plate stays safe and hygienic. Use a silicone-tipped spoon if you would like the finish to stay looking new.
